Waiting for the iPhone
No, I am not at the Apple store camping out in line tonight.
I will confirm the blessed cellular device is the sole item on my Father's Day/Birthday gift list. I admit
I covet the Apple iPhone. But it's only a sin if I covet my neighbor's iPhone, right?

The Big Subject: Gas Prices

gas price cartoons for years on the subject.
Then weep at the
"Gas Attack" cartoon where I was complaining about prices when they were
under $2 a gallon. Augh!

Bad Sign for the Economy
Ooo, this CAN'T be good. :)
Sales of Spam — that much maligned meat — are rising as consumers are turning
more to lunch meats and other lower-cost foods to extend their already stretched
food budgets.
